It has gorgeous rivers and valleys and several wine growing regions yes that is correct wine regions. They have been making wine in Washington for a very long time but for some reason many people are still puzzled to hear about it.  If you get the chance go to the Walla Walla Valley not only is it impressive but the wine is rich and delicious as well.
