Camino Del Inca a division of El Porvenir de los Andes was founded in 1890 by a family of Italian immigrants who settled in the Cafayate Valley. In 1999 it was reborn as a premium winery upon being bought by the Romero-Marcuzzi family, who knew the region and were inspired to develop a successful vitivinicultural project. This interest had begun in the 1980’s when the family owned a winery in Tolombón, 14 kilometers from Cafayate. Out of that grew the passion for the industry and that was why more than almost two decades later this project began, marked by significant investments in infrastructure, technology and new vineyards. The winery’s philosophy is focused on maximum quality and care in making high-altitude wines that are authentic and exclusive, and whose production is limited to 150,000 bottles per year. Our goal is to take the art of making premium wines to a higher level, bringing together artisanal care with the latest technology.
